The week of Bunbury Fringe is absolutely PACKED with fun. The City of Bunbury will be abuzz, as stacks of locals host satellite events and activities - this year, one of those businesses or groups could be you!

You have the freedom to develop your own Fringe Buddies show, ticketed or free, and have it included in an awesome printed program AND right here on our website. Whether you have a workshop or concept to share, or you just LOVE the idea of a performance popping up in your business or space, we’d love to hear your idea and help promote it.  To be eligible for our support the event or activity must fall between January 5 and January 31, 2027.

  • Let us introduce you to Fringe Buddies…

    Bunbury Geographe will be abuzz in January, as stacks of locals host satellite events and activities. This year, one of those businesses or groups could be you!

     Fringe Buddies is a program that invites you to develop yoour own event, show or workshop.

    You might have a workshop you’d love to share or just love the idea of hosting a performance in your space – whatever your idea is we’d love to hear from you.

    Any events between 5 – 31 January 2027 can be included in the Fringe Buddy program.

  • ou can apply to be a Fringe Buddy if you are a local business or group within the Bunbury Geographe region and you have an event/activity that falls between 5-31 January 2027.

    Preference is given to events/activities that have an artistic flair and support arts in your community - it's fringe so you can be as creative as you like. 

    • Your event is added to the fringe Buddy program section of our printed program

    • Option to purchase additional advertising space in the program at reasonable prices

    • Support local artists looking to perform

    • Attract new clientele to your business or group

    • Be part of the Summer of Fringe Festival goodness

  • No, Bunbury Fringe does not charge a fee for you to be part of the program. You are in control of what your business or group contributes to your event, the event delivery, ticketing and additional promotion.

  • Free and ticketed events are welcome. This is completely up to you. We encourage businesses and groups to put on free events if possible, but those providing a hands-on experience with food, beverages or consumables, or if you are paying artists fees you can recoup expenses by selling tickets. You are responsible for managing all ticketing and bookings for your event.

  • All Fringe Buddies who lock in their event by 1 October 2026 will have their event included in a beautiful printed program, social media posts and on our website.

    Those who miss the deadline will still be included on our website, digital program and social media posts.

    To gain best traction you are encouraged to set up an event on Socials and make Fringe a co-host.  Then share away…
